What are FairPatch & FairStrips?
FairPatch and FairStrips are specialized forms of Fairmat Chips. They are cured, single-ply composite elements with fully customizable sizes and shapes. They feature continuous fibers and are ideal for applications that are either require a single ply or have well defined load paths.
They are designed for manual or robotic assembly, either directly into a tool or within another component.
Like the standard ones, these custom chips can be laminated with thermoset (wet or film), thermoplastic resins or combined with other virgin materials.
These can become a perfect solution for products that have very specific load cases or complex shapes.
Their individual quality is assured through Fairmat's traceability systems and 100% in-process quality inspection, and they are delivered with full specifications and a Certificate of Conformity.
